President Andrew Jackson was a pretty rough guy. He routinely fought in duels, and even used to beat people with a stick. That's not very funny.
However, Cracked.com makes it pretty entertaining in this video. Since Jackson was president during the beginning of the Victorian era, it's a good idea for steampunks to get to know what he was really like, since that's probably how the British saw him. Something like this:
